Honoring Our Ingredients, End to End
Everything we make starts with the raw materials. We favor short, traceable supply chains and work with growers who share our standards for quality and stewardship—think cold-pressed plant oils from long-standing co-ops, botanicals harvested in season, and lab-made actives with clear provenance and safety data. Wherever possible we choose certified or equivalent best-practice sources and verify each lot we buy.
Quality is non-negotiable. Every incoming ingredient arrives with a certificate of analysis, then we spot-check identity, purity, and microbial safety before it’s cleared for use. We blend in small batches to protect freshness, label each run with a batch number and best-by date, and perform stability and compatibility checks so formulas stay effective from the first pump to the last.
Respecting ingredients also means handling them well. We store heat- and light-sensitive materials in climate-controlled conditions, minimize oxygen exposure during mixing, and use the lowest effective processing temperatures to preserve beneficial compounds. Fragrance—when used—is IFRA-compliant, and we always list full INCI names so you can see exactly what’s inside.
We work to cut waste at every step. Batch sizes are planned to match demand, leftover materials are reallocated into pilot runs or internal testing instead of being discarded, and we prioritize recyclable or reusable packaging such as glass, aluminum, and FSC-certified paper. When plastic is necessary, we seek PCR (post-consumer recycled) options and design components for easy separation on recycling day.
What sets us apart is transparency and consistency: clear ingredient lists, meaningful percentages for key actives, straightforward usage guidance, and packaging chosen to protect both the formula and the planet. By honoring the materials—from how they’re grown to how they’re bottled—we aim to deliver products that perform beautifully and are made responsibly.
